5月31日 I amI've been doing a bit of cleaning up, moving things around and sorting
things out. I found a lot of my writings from "creative writing" class,
and a lot of other things I had written on my free time or during
class. One of these was written with the I am format, it was an
assignment for English Lit. I believe. I was pretty surprised myself,
but after thinking about it it all made sense. This was written during
my very own "dark ages". I am Hope, Salvation, the Son. I wonder if they'll come through in the end I see the world crubling down I hear the people crying for rescue I want them to realize that I am the Way. I pretend for them to believe in me I feel their pain I touch their lives I worry sometimes and I cry as I see them destroying their precious lives I am the Light I understand that they're all natural born sinners I say only what I can to try to save them. I dream of the day when we will all be together I try to make them believe to help them out I hope they all come through I am God. For a person who knew nothing about God, or Christ, or salvation, or being born again(at least not to the extent a true Christian would), to have written these words one can only wonder and confirm, God indeed was whispering into my ears giving me the hope I needed to get to where I am now. Saved. Born Again. Since this written with the I am format there are things that I know now that aren't really true like "I wonder.." because God knows. "I hope" because God knows. Blessings to All. This is a time to search for God's whispers in your lives. He knocks and all you have to do is listen and answer. It will be the best decision ever! I Promise! Joy forever? You see I've been happy, real happy. I failed a class yes
I know, I've prayed for it, before during and after it happened. I'm
taking the class again, I'm planning to study early. I'm Joyful. I've
had problems at home, I've prayed on it, read the word and been trying
to follow God's command's on how to treat my parents (patience, love,
obedience, etc). I'm Joyful. Really I was starting to get a little
worried. I've told and retold my testimony with positive and negative
reactions. Everyone knows. I'm Joyful. But my dear God knows what I'm
thinking, and He kind of told me not to worry at all. I met a woman who
has been a christian for over 36 years and she answered "It just keeps
getting sweeter and sweeter" without me asking. What a relief!! but
then again, I cannot rest on other people's opinion. So looking for
something else in the bible I stumbled accross this beauty: "But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

With a huge difference, I'm a Christian! :P You wouldn't think something like that would make too much of a difference but it does. God is so completely amazing that with all the stuff that have already happened to me by now, if it were last year, I would have been going through a major depression. But I couldn't be more at peace knowing that He is in charge of everything. I know He's pushing it to the limit, like silver in the fiery blaze to remove all impurities. But with Him my heart I can bear it all, so Lord keep pushing! :) Its my thirst for Him that keeps me going. My blessed hope.

When it comes to love
5月9日 Isaiah 6That's the title of one of my favorite songs. If you've ever read Isaiah's testimony on how he came to be a prophet chosen by God of course, the thought of it is just amazing. Imagine that actually happening to you. If you haven't read it yet, I recomend you listen to the song first, Isaiah 6 by Todd Agnew and then read Isaiah 6. It is just so inspiring. I can only imagine what it must have been like for Isaiah, but I assume he had the same feelings as I did the day God forgave my sins. I will never forget, I can be sure of that. The tipical words people use is extreme peace and joy, I know because those were the words I used to describe what I was feeling but it is more than that. I just felt how everything inside me changed completely. And reading the bible now I see things in me described in these pages that I had never read before(ephesians 4:17-32), no one ever said "you have to be this way or that way" to me, it's like somehow I already knew. And without hesitating or without it being any trouble I changed. As simple as that Angel who put the live coal in Isaiah's mouth and said "your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for." (Isaiah 6:6) And nothing fills my heart with joy more than knowing this.

Rita 5月4日 The End"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door." Mathew 24:32-33 So about those signs I was talking about a couple of blogs back. You see no one likes to here about the End of Days because it sounds terrifying. But I explained the Blessed Hope on which us Christians rely on. I find that it is important for non-Christians to be aware as well that the end times are near.
So lets go back to mathew chapter 24, verse 15: "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—"
And verses 22-25:"For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time."
The signs mentioned in Mathew are as I mentioned before plagues, diseases, earthquakes, false prophets, etc. But the biggest sign of all of them is explained in the book of Daniel chapter 9 verses 24-27.
So in a brief explanation of these two verses. First and foremost the term week in this context is considered to be 7 periods of years. Thus the first 69 "weeks" are in fact 483 years. When calculated the years from the decree the number leads to April 6 32 AC. Meaning the messiah Gabriel talks about in this verse is in fact Jesus Christ. Further on Gabriel says that after the 69 weeks(first 7 weeks then 62 weeks = 69 weeks) Messiah would be cut off, referring to Christ's death. Then he says "and the people of the prince who is to come" referring to the AntiChrist as the prince who is to come, the people he's talking about is the romans. Meaning the antichrist has to come from the modern Roman Empire (which is believed to be the European Union). So the last week, the last period of 7 years starts with the treaty of Peace that the antichrist makes with the people of Israel.
The most compelling evidence of this prophecy is the reunion of the people of Israel after they had been scattered "around the four corners of the earth", had stopped using the hebrew language for thousands of years, and have almost been wiped off the surface of the earth numerous times. You'd think it's a miracle that Israel has survived all these years. But if you read the entire book of Daniel and the Bible you will see that it is written that because of Israel's desobedience they would be scattered and then would become a nation again. The Piece of the puzzle to complete the whole picture is that as an attempt of finally making peace with its oppressors, Israel will sign a pact with the antichrist not knowing of course he's the antichrist. And after 3 years and a half the pact will be broken and then the Period of tribulation will start and then the end will come.
But I exhort you all to read the newspapers, read about the situation in Israel. Read about the European Union, and about the middle east quartet and the PLO.

5月2日 The DaVinci StormThis afternoon while checking my email like I always do, I first delete all the useless ones then I move to reading my devotionals and suddenly I find this email from one of the christian websites i'm subscribed to. The email has tons of material and booklets on how to combat the Davinci Lies but not with non-believers, no their material is to teach the believers why what's in the danvinci code movie and book are lies and what's on the bible is the truth. And then this image pops-up in my head, you see we are all in this huge boat out at sea in the middle of this huge storm, and Jesus is right there beside us all having a little nap about to wake up in any minute just to look at us all and say Where is your faith?
